PTE

PTE overview
PTE Academic is a computer-based test for non-native English speakers looking to study abroad. It assesses four skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. The exam combines some modules, with questions that test two skills at once.
The Speaking and Writing modules are part of one session, while Listening and Reading are separate. There are twenty question types, including multiple-choice and essay writing. The test lasts three hours and is taken in a secure environment, with your Speaking responses recorded for evaluation.
Results are available within about five days. The PTE test features real-life academic content, including graphs and excerpts, and incorporates both native and non-native accents to reflect everyday conversations.
